About
The Social Change Partners Program is a community of organisations working towards improving the wellbeing of the community by using the methodology and tools of La Sobremesa.
We invite you to become part of the La Sobremesa movement to improve the way people engage with difficult topics, such as gender equality and healthy relationships, that can lead to positive social change. After all, the most powerful learning experiences occur when people connect the emotions with the concepts. By increasing the access to our engaging board-games and comic-book, you are helping us to create a better future for everyone.
bENEFITS
By being part of the Social Change Partners Program you get:
Licence of the board-games and comic book: Partners have the exclusive opportunity to buy the licence to use La Sobremesa award-winning board-games and comic book. This also includes manuals and suggested session delivery plans.
Training: In-person training of staff, so you can get ready to facilitate workshops using La Sobremesa model. As part of the training, you get a manual and we work together to develop relevant session plans to deliver workshops for your community.
Support: Latin Stories Australia provides ad-hoc support on topics such as contextualisation and M&E strategy and tools. Latin Stories Australia offers support for more time-consuming projects as additional tailored services.
Partnerships and resources: A yearly event helps to connect our Social Change Partners Network. In addition, we maintain our network informed with regular relevant resources and community events information.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Latin Stories Australia works to monitor and evaluate the impact of the overall La Sobremesa programme and network. So, we will make sure your team is equipped to use the M&E strategies and tools.
At “La Sobremesa”™ we bring people together to have fun playing board-games while learning and reflecting on gender equality, gender stereotypes and consent.
